Yoga, Qigong,

Beginners level Courses
Learn the basics of Yoga, Qigong, Yin Yoga & Yoga Nidra:
  • The breath

  • The main Yoga/Qigong poses

  • Alignment

  • Relaxation

  • Stretches 

 

​Learn how Qigong can support your health. Discover the meridians or channels of energy in your body and how to clear energy blockage with simple Qigong forms or movements.

​

Qigong follows the agricultural calendar. There are 5 seasons in Qigong and each season is related to specific meridians, organs and emotions.

 

​You will learn about the organs associated with the seasons and how you can live in harmony with nature and your body. You will learn how to cultivate and replenish your qi (energy).

 

You will gain understanding of the key basic postures in yoga and how they can be weaved with a Qigong practice. 

​

The breath is an underlying theme as it is essential to regulate the nervous system and more specifically the parasympathetic nervous system (rest and digest).

​

The restorative practice through Yoga Nidra will rebalance your nervous system, boost your immune system, relax your tensions and promote alignment.

​

Yin Yoga involves stretches, it is particularly useful if you feel stiff to increase mobility. It also improves sleep and the immune system as we work with the meridians to eliminate energy blockages.

Evening courses, 5 weeks each

Held at Hildenborough Village Hall on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, during Term times. Free parking space around the venue.

Maximum of 10 participants per class. A friendly atmosphere and relaxed group in a sunlit studio.

Yin Yoga (stretches), Yoga Nidra

Yoga Qigong Tonbridge

Your session starts with breath work to eliminate toxins and continues with a Yin practice (stretches). Alternatives will be offered to tailor the practice to each individual body. You will enjoy a deluxe guided relaxation with Yoga Nidra.

​

Yoga Nidra will bring you to a deep state of relaxation. The practice promotes release of the nervous system, the muscles, improves alignment, sleep and the immune system. 

​

Sound healing will be played during the session for further relaxation.

​

Option to join per class if you cannot make the 5 weeks.

An exclusive course for a maximum of 5 participants for optimum support from the teacher.

​

The practice is a blend of Yoga/Qigong and will end with a deluxe guided relaxation (Yoga Nidra). All props provided.

 

Studio in an exclusive and beautiful location in North Tonbridge, TN10 4NP.​

The studio is overlooking a peaceful garden. In summer, the classes are held outside in the garden in the shade of an eucalyptus tree.

 

Option to join per class if you cannot make the 5 weeks.

Yoga & Qigong Teacher

Candice graduated from Triyoga Daoist Flow Teacher Training led by Jean Hall and Mimi Kuo Deemer. Her teaching style is influenced by Vinyasa and Qigong.

 

Candice is passionate about embodiment, alignment and connection with the breath.

She remains a yoga student, furthering her knowledge on somatics yoga and different meditation techniques.

​

Candice believes yoga can help everyone to better regulate the nervous system and enhance wellbeing.
