Why Practice Yin & Nidra?
Sometimes the most restorative thing you can do is stop.
Yin yoga is a slow, gentle practice where you rest into carefully supported poses for a few minutes at a time. That's it. No strength needed, no flexibility required, no previous experience. Just your body softening into stillness while the props do the work. And in that stillness, something quietly remarkable happens, tension you didn't even know you were holding begins to release. Muscles unknot. The mind slows down. You start to feel like yourself again.
Most people who come to Yin have never tried it before. That's completely fine, it's one of the most accessible practices there is, and every pose will always be adapted to suit your body on the day.
Yoga Nidra or Deep Rest takes you even deeper. Sometimes called yogic sleep, it's a guided relaxation where you simply lie down, get completely comfortable, blankets, bolsters, an eye pillow if you like, and listen to my voice as gentle sound healing plays softly in the background. You don't have to do anything. Many students drift into the most peaceful rest they've had all week. Some notice they sleep better for days afterwards.
Together, Yin and Nidra create a complete reset, for your body, your breath, and your mind.
Most students book by term and return season after season. Drop-in spaces are available if your schedule needs flexibility.
How Restful Practices Can Support You.
Deep Nervous System Reset

Yin Yoga works deep into the fascia and meridians, enhancing mobility and releasing energetic blockages for better flow and balance.

I didn't know what to expect and was quite nervous but I didn't have to be. Candice and the whole group made me feel so welcome.
If you aren't quite in the right position or a pose is too difficult, Candice will quietly come over and reposition you or suggest a modified version of the pose.
I’ve been going 4 weeks now and I certainly will be continuing as I literally can feel all stresses and tensions leaving my body after a long day.
Thank you Candice.
